Walk 55 Glen Lochsie & Glas Tulaichean 3 May 2012

Glen Lochsie Lodge
This walk was a long time coming, having been planned then postponed because of bad weather.
It's always a shame when you have to bow to the pressures of work..and just to rub it in Pete sent his report almost immediately...I've just got rid of the green tinge.
Glas Tulaichean
Taking in the scenery
'In glorious conditions the group set off from Dalmunzie House hotel and followed the old Victorian railway line up to the ruined Glen Lochsie Lodge before the long ascent to Glas Tulaichean. From the cairn at 3410 feet we had views of Loch Votrachan, Loch nan Eun, Lochnagar and over to the Lairig Ghru.
Some of the party then retraced their steps back down to the Lodge before fording the river and walking back down Glen Lochsie on the other side of the river.
The other group walked along the ridge and descended via Creag Bhreac back onto the railway line and back to Dalmunzie where both groups met up again to set off for home.'
