The Braemar Walkers were formed on 11 January 2010 to encourage walking in and around Braemar. The walks aim to promote fitness through walking and social interaction with like minded people.
Activities: Plan and execute walks, look at new and existing routes and research and investigate old and ancient paths in the area.

LR Track to tree line

The walk commenced at the main LR track from Little Inverey.  The track zig zaged through the woods to the end of the tree line  then at approx 530 metres climbed further on the LR track to Cairn na Moine at 755 metres we then carried on along the ridge path to Carn Liath  height 818 metres then  descended to Dubruch for Lunch. After lunch we turned eastwards  following the South side of the Dee to pass the ruins of Dalvorar Township to pick up the LR track towards the Linn of Dee and back to Little Inverey. Apart from a wee bit of heather hopping;a great day out.
