SUMMARY

An easy walk on good tracks

Distance: approx 6 km (3.72 miles) = approx 12 km (7.44 miles) in total

Time: 4 hours (excl lunch stop and photo opportunities etc).

Grade: Easy – height gained 128 Metres



Highlights:

The Colonel’s Bed, remains of old settlements on the route

The walk will start at 11:30 am.

WHAT TO BRING?

Packed lunch and hot drink.

Suitable warm, weatherproof clothing for the conditions.

Poles and Gaiters are worthwhile taking (if you like them)

Map and compass.





A 1st Aid kit, emergency shelter and phone, will be available.
